On April 6, 2016 – Cruiserweight contender Steve “USS” Cunningham held a media day at Rock Ministries in the Kensington section of Philadelphia. PK Sports was on hand to document the Q&A, workout session and general boxing discussion in regards to Cunningham’s April 16 date to challenge Poland based champion Krzysztof Glowacki for the IBF Cruiserweight title at the Barclay Center. Press play – turn up the volume – blow it up full screen
As always – we take a different approach than what you typically see produced by the boxing media. This one has more of a documentary feel as opposed to the usual home video you will find posted on social media.
This was cut and produced by staff videographer Mateusz Krzesiczan. You can see more of his work at www.matphoto.com
If victorious, “USS” will become a three-time world champion and likely garner some Hall of Fame votes in the process. The contest will be broadcast live by Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on NBC.
Thanks to everyone who invited us and assisted in the creation of this video. A road trip to Brooklyn is on deck. My press pass awaits!
Here is a preview from Eric Hunter’s media day on March 30, 2016 from the DSG Gym. This marked the final local appearance for “Outlaw” before he set off for London where he fights IBF Featherweight champion Lee Selby at the 02 Arena.
This video has more of a professional look than what you usual see. Hit full screen and turn on the volume for full effect. Credit to staff videographer Mateusz Krzesiczan for the work and edits.
This is a test – I am in the process of creating the first ever continuous Boxing Network. This on-going streamed reel will be Philly themed though I will have other great national boxing videos mixed in.
Blow it up full screen – kick back and enjoy some great programming. Check in for Interviews, old fights, gym footage, highlight reels and much more. Fast forward through any video you do not like to get to the next one.

At the start of this decade we made some really good interviews with then Philly fighter Simon Carr outside of the Legendary Blue Horizon. His way with words if a perfect fit for the PK Sports “shoot” style interview where we give the space for people to speak their mind and set the record straight.
Five years later – ain’t a damn thing changed! One Punch, now more focused on his business and brand, gets a lot off his chest in this interview – going in on the “shabby” state of Philly boxing, being boxing’s 1st true entrepreneur, and generally being “everywhere when you never there”.
Meet local Philly fighter Jerome Conquest, a 29 year old southpaw who is just getting starting in the professional boxing ranks. Conquest scored his first career knockout victory in his most recent bout – a shot some are saying is a contender for local KO of the year.
