Import Calendar Events older than 90 days to Blackberry

Let's say your company has a bunch of blackberry users and they all sync wirelessly to your Exchange server. Out of the blue the CEO needs to know which dates she attended a conference. PROBLEM! BES manager only keeps your previous 90 days worth of info. .... 

I have found a fix that not even the Engineers at Blackberry could MacGyver up... 

But since your Exchange serve doesn't delete old records there is still a fighting chance. 

The answer is to Disable wireless sync on the calendar for a few minutes, plug the phone into the PC (If you don't have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed, go to the website and get it) synch all events prior to today. After the reactive wireless sync. BAM! Your CEO has a blackberry full of past events and all is well in the world again... 

To pull of this minor miracle follow these steps..

Open Calendar

Click Blackberry Button - select Options

Click Desktop

Set Wireless Synchronization to NO

Open Blackberry Desktop Manager

Plug Blackberry into the PC via Chord

Configure Synchronization to import items x days prior to today (I recommend importing 0 days after today as you will re enable wireless sync)

Do your sync

Back to Calendar, verify info has imported.

Click Blackberry - options

Desktop

Set Wireless Sync to YES
