In March Simon came up on the short end of the stick in Germany against IBF champ Arthur Abraham at least in the judges eyes. His manager Dave Escalet informed me that a elimination bout with Germany's Sebastian Sylvester wh is #5 for the NOT RATED #2

Lajuan is looking for a 6/27 undercard fight with Sylvester of Germany the IBF #5 contender for the #2 vacant spot. Lajuan is #10 as champion Arthur Abraham defends against his #11 contender.

I read that Sylvester is likely to fight Amin Asikainen (who is the IBF #4) for that #2 spot and for the Euro-middleweight title. Lajuan will have to hope that fight falls through I guess.
I would like to see Lajuan fight Roman Karmazin (IBF #3). That would be a good fight.

Should be a good fight. I just watched a bunch of Sylvester's fights on youtube. He is most comfortable as a counter-puncher, but he will come forward and "make" the fight. Thing is, he rarely throws his jab, and when he does, it is pretty weak. He eats a lot of shots on the way in. If Lajuan keeps his hands busy, he takes this one.

Seen this guy fight with Abraham. If his conditioning was better he'd of won the last two rounds and made the scoring interesting. Hopefully he will be better next time but sources tell me he is never sent to camp which could be a mistake.

No way. Even with the last 2 rounds he still would have lost. 117-110 117-110 and 118-109 scores were WAY too wide. I thought it was an even fight.

The Sylvester fight? Or Abraham? If you saw Sylvester, do you have a link to it? Thanks...
