Rogers Mtagwa will finally get that world title shot (WBO 122lb strap) against Juan Manuel Lopez @ The Garden in October. Mtagwa has been in some classics and ranks in a few sanctioning bodies lists but Top Rank seems to think of him just as a showcase to set up a really big fight with Lopez & Gamboa.
Does the Tiger have a shot in this one? Could be a good action fight but I def think someone is getting KO'd in this one. Not sure if there is any TV involved...
What is your take on this fight?

Mtagwa has proved over and over that he's one punch away from winning...he does get hit way to much but so far he delivered enough to come out on top....the big question is when is he going to run out of those dramatic comebacks....hope it's on tv

Juanma hits....but is there to be hit. Mtagwa certainly has a puncher's chance.

Peltz Boxing website has this marked as a PPV.
If the boxrec lineup holds true, this is looking like a very solid card
Kevin Johnson vs Solis the cuban heavyweight Vanes Martrosian vs Pawel Wolak Gamboa vs a duck

Plus, Mtagwa can take a licking & keep on ticking! Lopez is very explosive!
